Graduate Field of Study in Christian Applied Behavioral Analysis

Master of Science in Christian Applied Behavioral Analysis(MS) 46 credit hours(9 credits in religious studies, 15 credits in general education, and 21 credits in core studies)

The program advances the baccalaureate-prepared student in the specialty of Applied Behavior Analysis. The student gains mastery level skills in assessment procedures and intervention strategies to teach how to replace problematic behavior with new and socially valued thoughts and actions. The demand for qualified and well-trained Behavior analysts continues to increase. The student is enriched with proficient practices in the development, implementation, and evaluation of behavioral interventions. Biblical-based perspectives and Christ-centered tools are explored to enhance the performance of behavioral procedures. Emphasis is placed on the importance of evidence-based theories and methods with clinical experiences taking place in the community, churches, mental health, and other human service settings. A total of 1000 hours of fieldwork experience is completed to align with the recommendations of the Association for Behavior Analysis International(ABAI). Eligibility for board certification is restricted to ABAI-accredited institutions.
